Harry Potter link up- I'm co-hosting!

Hey guys! I'm super excited to be co-hosting this lovely Harry Potter link up again. Last week was a lot of fun, and a couple of this week's questions were tricky, so it was fun answering them.

Here are the rules:

Here are this week's questions:

What is your favorite fan site? I don't know if it's a "fansite" but I love Pottermore! I'm SpiritGold15005 if anyone wants to add me.
Do you have a crazy theory you would like to share with us? I actually don't. But I've read a lot about people who say Neville is actually The Chosen One. I definitely don't believe that but it's interesting.
Do you have a question YOU need answered? There are so many of them. I really wish JK Rowling would just write another HP book with them as adults!

Favorite Department of mysteries room? The Time Room! I love the idea of time turners (from The Prizoner of Azkaban) and I would love to know more about them.
Biggest letdown of the series? I would have to say the biggest letdown was with the last movie...I was so disappointed with the epilogue part at Platform 9 3/4. It was just way too short and it left out tons of crucial information for people who haven't read the books. Harry only spoke a few sentences and we only learned the names of one of Harry & Jenny's sons, and we don't hear anything about the Ron & Hermione's children either. That last chapter in the book is much more detailed and deserved more than the 90 seconds it got in the film.

If J.K. was to do anything else HP related would you rather see a prequel or a sequel? While I would love to read a sequel, I think a prequel with more on James, Lily, and Sirius would be awesome, and we could see how they grow up & become involved in The Order of the Phoenix and Voldemort. That could be another spin off series in itself!

And for #7 share some of your favorite HP GIFs with us!

Have fun & link up below!

  2. I love those GIFs. Some of the best parts of the movies!
I don't know why but I get sad when people say the end of the last movie let them down! Love for that movie has been made blind to it's faults :P

  3. The thing that disappointed me about the last movie is that the book is very clear that Harry didn't kill Voldemort, but that Voldemort's own evil rebounded on him and was responsible for his own death. I think that's very important to the message of the books, but of course, it's not a very "Hollywood" ending. The movies favor a much more simplified ending. But then again, movies are almost always a disappointment compared to their books.

  4. I loved the last movie, but you're right...the epilogue really did miss a lot of what it was in the book. And I've thought about what might have happened if Voldemort had gone after Neville instead of Harry, but I've never thought of the possibility that he could be the "chosen one"...interesting!
