So what happened this week?

We painted our Halloween pumpkins

And we had an awesome Halloween! Even in the pouring rain.

My son was a total bookworm. This is how many minutes he has read each week on his own!

See? He read all of the first Harry Potter by himself! He's only 8 (2nd grade).

I helped my bloggy friend Abby launch her new blog name/look with a MASSIVE GIVEAWAY! Over $1500 in prizes (and you can still enter...go now!)

Things got Pinteresting

I finished up this cute little quilt for my unborn niece.

I showed you my sweet little indian-girl tattoo my husband did

Hope you guys had a great weekend!

Don't forget to enter this giveaway from Honeybee Alley on my blog. Win a bracelet & ring from my new friend Jay, and win ad space on Lulu & Sweet Pea :)

Love the tattoo! So intricate. I have two, (I have a lot more piercings, though) and I'm currently trying to figure out what I want my next tat to be. Eek!

  8. I remember when I used to (have time to) read that much. We had this program at my elementary school where you take a reading comprehension quiz on the computer for every book you read. The quizzes had ten questions and I think you had to get 6/10 to pass. If you passed enough quizzes each trimester, then you got to go along on a special field trip to a buffet and they paid for all of us to eat. They also gave us medals and I got a special trophy in 6th grade for passing 1000 book quizzes during elementary school. It was so much fun and a really good program. All this to say that I think it's really cool when kids enjoy reading that much.
