DIY painted Halloween bottle

Saturday, October 20, 2012

I've seen so many cute painted wine bottle ideas on Pinterest, so I'm excited to say I finally tried one!
I decided to do something for Halloween.

The only supplies I used were the bottle (washed & dried), black spray paint, silver spray paint, masking tape, and some sticker letters. I wasn't really following an idea here...just kind of doing my own thing. This is what I came up with:

When it was completely dry I added some sticks that I wanted to use to give my living room a "fall" feel.

Then I added the cute little bottle to my fireplace mantle!

I didn't even bother sealing the bottle or anything when it was finished because I figured I'd probably want to change it up right after Halloween again, so I'll probably just paint it again & reuse it for another holiday or season. I'll have to see what I can come up with for Christmas.

Hope you guys are having a great weekend!
