It's time to announce first monthly winner for The Pinterest Project linky party and our first The Pinterest Project Queen! This winner was voted on by you guys from a pool of our most clicked links and the co-hosts favorites from the month of August. The lucky lady is going to get not only the title as the Queen, but she also wins ad space on all three of the co-hosts blogs!
And the winner is....
Aren't these amazing? I think my jaw literally dropped when I saw these. I sooooo want a pair of my own! These are super cute and so creative. Congratulations Torie! Job well done & you deserve the title of The Pinterest Project Queen!
Torie, make sure you grab both of these buttons to add to your blog so people know where you were featured :)
And everyone make sure to hop over to her blog Lattes and Love and tell her how much you love her shoes! Or you can tweet her here, make sure you follow myself, Amber, & Sarah while you're at it. We tweet throughout the week for TPP & we might just tweet you if you link up & follow us too.
As always, a new The Pinterest Project linky party starts on Tuesday. Come back & link up your Pinterest inspired creations. You could be our next TPP Queen and win some sweet ad space just for being your crafty self.
I want to thank my lovely co-hosts Amber from My Three Bittles and Sarah from Fortune Favors. I am so so lucky to have such great bloggy BFFs to co-host with. They are seriously like twins of me...it's crazy. Make sure you jump over on their blogs as well & follow them because if you like my blog, you'll love them too. These gals are seriously the best ever and I love teaming up with them any chance I get.
So what else is new? Oh...I changed my hair! I decided to go for the ombre look. I was going for this picture of Ashlee Simpson:
Here's my hair before (it's been all dark for almost 3 years)
(love those blond roots girl)
And here's what I ended up with:
What do you think? It's not quite as drastic as the Ashlee Simpson picture, which is OK with me. I'm in love with the color. One thing though...I think I'm going to do a little more bleach around the face-framing layers that I have & bring it up a little bit higher.
Not bad though for DIY ombre hair, right? It was way easier than I thought it would be. If any one's interested in a tutorial I might just do one, so let me know what you think in the comment section below.
Yesterday was mine and my husband's 9 year dating anniversary. Read about it here.
I talked about Fall fashion here.
I shared some of my vacation in Idaho pictures here.
Tomorrow is moving day! We are getting out of our tiny, temporary apartment and are getting into a bigger house with tons of privacy in a great area. It's going to be so sucky moving all of our stuff, but my OCD kicked in to full effect last week & I successfully packed most of our stuff. The rest will be thrown into boxes, bags, and laundry baskets when the moving truck comes. So stinking excited to not have noisy neighbors anymore.
Ooh, and my
little big guy's first day of school is Wednesday. I can't believe I have a 2nd grader now!
Hope everyone had a wonderful Labor Day weekend.
Have a fabulous week!
